- UPI ID (provided by user)

- Transaction reference details (UTR)

Note: Sportle does not collect or store sensitive financial information such as bank account details, card numbers, or payment credentials.

d. Device & Notification Data

- Push notification token (ExponentPushToken) used to send notifications

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

- Create and manage user accounts

- Enable tournament participation and coordination

- Verify payments between users and organizers

- Send push notifications (match updates, tournament activity)

- Improve app functionality and reliability

- Ensure security and prevent misuse

3. Payments

Sportle facilitates participation in real-world sports tournaments organized by third parties. Payments are made directly to tournament organizers via external methods such as UPI.

Sportle does not process, collect, or control payment transactions. Users may voluntarily provide transaction details (such as UTR or UPI ID) for verification purposes.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share data:

- With service providers such as infrastructure providers (e.g., MongoDB Atlas)

- With push notification services (Expo Push Service) for delivering notifications

- With authentication providers (Google, Apple) during login

- If required by law or legal process

- To protect rights, safety, and prevent fraud

5. Third-Party Services

We use limited third-party services:

- Expo Push Service – to send notifications

- Google / Apple Authentication – for login

- MongoDB Atlas / backend infrastructure – for secure data storage

These services may process limited data strictly for app functionality.

6. Data Storage and Security

User data is stored on secure servers (e.g., MongoDB Atlas infrastructure, typically hosted in the United States).

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for:

- Providing services

- Legal and operational requirements

8. Account Deletion

Users can delete their account from within the app.

Upon deletion:

- Personal data will be deleted or anonymized

- Some minimal data may be retained if required for legal or fraud prevention purposes

9. Children’s Privacy

Sportle is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Notifications

We use push notifications to inform users about:

- Tournament updates

- Important app-related updates

Users can disable notifications in device settings.

11. Data Tracking

Sportle does not use third-party analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.

We do not track users across apps or websites.

Welcome to Sportle. By accessing or using the Sportle mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. About Sportle

Sportle is a platform that enables users to discover, create, and participate in real-world sports tournaments organized by third-party users (“Organizers”).

Sportle does not organize, manage, or control tournaments listed on the platform unless explicitly stated.

2. User Eligibility

- You must be at least 13 years old to use Sportle

- By using the app, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate

3. User Accounts

- Users must create an account to access certain features

- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account

- You are responsible for all activities under your account

Sportle reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Tournament Participation

- Users may join tournaments listed by Organizers

- Organizers are solely responsible for:

- Tournament details

- Scheduling

- Rules and conduct

- Prize distribution (if any)

Sportle is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or execution of tournaments.

5. Payments and Transactions

- Payments for tournament participation are made directly to Organizers via external methods such as UPI

- Sportle does not process, collect, or control payments

- Sportle is not responsible for:

- Payment failures

- Fraudulent transactions

- Disputes between users and organizers

Users are responsible for verifying payment details before making any transaction.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

- All cancellation and refund policies are determined by the Organizer

- Sportle does not guarantee refunds

- Any disputes must be resolved directly between users and Organizers

7. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

- Provide false or misleading information

- Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior

- Disrupt tournaments or other users

- Use the app for illegal activities

Sportle may suspend or remove users violating these rules.

8. Content and Data

- Users may provide information such as tournament data and profile details

- You grant Sportle the right to use this information to operate the platform

We do not sell your personal data.

9. Notifications

Sportle may send notifications related to:

- Tournament updates

- Match participation

- App-related information

Users can disable notifications through device settings.

10. Account Deletion

Users can delete their account from within the app.

Upon deletion, user data will be removed or anonymized in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

- Sportle is not liable for:

- Any injuries, damages, or losses during tournaments

- Disputes between users and Organizers

- Financial losses related to payments

Use of the app is at your own risk.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sportle from any claims, damages, or disputes arising from:

- Your use of the app

- Your participation in tournaments

- Any violation of these Terms

13. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the app.

Sportle may modify or discontinue features at any time.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
